My nearly 16-year-old tomcat has been taking the drops for a while now, and I’ve noticed that he’s become less nervous because of them. He started developing early signs of dementia and separation anxiety a few months ago, and on my vet’s advice, I ordered these drops.

He’s still very present and alert, but noticeably calmer. About half an hour after giving the drops, he settles down to quietly lie around and watch things, and I can tell he’s finding some peace.

So now, I only give them to him in the evening before bedtime, as his restlessness mainly happens at night. During the day, he’s still very active, playful, and alert for his age — which I can only be happy about. He clearly still feels very good, and the drops help him find a bit more rest at night, which is a perfect balance.

My review is a bit long, but I think it’s important to share.

My dog, a Border Collie mix, struggles with significant overexcitement, which at times leads to reactive behavior. It has been very difficult to manage. We have tried and done EVERYTHING — along with lots of work on obedience, emotional regulation, scent games, and calmness training.

We’ve been using the oil for 2 weeks now, and I can say that it WORKS. It doesn’t transform the dog, of course, but in her case it lowers her level of excitement just enough to allow me to work with her more effectively.

We’ve been around dogs that she used to react to. The problem isn’t gone, but the oil helps us manage it better.

Today I gave her a bath (using Candid’s shampoo and brush, by the way), and it was the first time in 3 years that I was able to do it with relative calm — you can't imagine what it used to be like.
