First week (first seven days) using cannabinoids:

A dosage of 2mg/kg is recommended (2 x the above dose) to rapidly activate the endocannabinoid system. 

Week 2+:

Maintenance dosage recommended to be given every day after one week of using cannabinoids-rich products follows the standard of 1 mg/kg/day (exact number of drops from the table above).

  • For mobility-related purposes this quantity is typically sufficient
  • For skin problems a dose of 2mg/kg/day can be needed during acute itching and irritation (2 x table)
  • For behavioral issues a dose of 2 to 4 mg/kg/day can be needed during situational triggers (separation, car rides, visits and other episodes) (2-4 x table)
